INTRODUCTION
We are known for our landscape designs but our interior design and decorating work have also been well received. We are happy to take on design-build jobs in Bali and decorating jobs anywhere in the world. Our specialities are artworks, textiles and furniture. Our permanent interiors staffs of four is often supplemented by our artwork, architecture and project management divisions (30 men strong altogether)
Our interior design work has been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor (France, H.K. and Australia), House and garden ( U.K.) and in many design books such as 'The Tropical House (Tim Street-Porter)', ‘Tropical Asian Style’, 'The Asian House' and ‘Bali Style’.
MODERN
At Wijaya Interiors we like to mix modern pieces with ‘primitive’ art. Our ‘modern’ work responds to a call from the market place for ‘less cluttered’ interiors.
TRADITIONAL
Indonesia has a rich tradition of decorative arts and furniture. We draw on these traditions and develop our own Balinese Trad-Mod pieces when decorating traditional (or ethnic) homes.
Over the years (since 1975) we have gathered contacts and knowledge from the world of Indonesian antiques too, and can help advice clients on quality purchases.
